ProcureDeal publishes educational content and commercial pages about the same market in which it sells a product. This page explains how we try to make that conflict visible rather than pretending it does not exist.
Primary-source preference
Framework claims should be supported by official framework or regulator sources where practical. Product claims about ProcureDeal should reflect the current implementation. Competitor descriptions should stay limited to public positioning and should be rechecked before material purchase decisions.
Commercial bias disclosure
ProcureDeal comparison and pricing pages are published by ProcureDeal. We therefore have a commercial interest in the category. We do not treat our own product as automatically best for every use case, and we identify situations where a broader platform or different commercial model may be more appropriate.
No fabricated social proof
We do not publish invented customers, testimonials, certifications, audit claims or case-study outcomes. When real customer proof becomes available and permission is obtained, it should be clearly labeled and attributable.
Corrections and updates
Pages show updated dates where appropriate. Material factual errors should be corrected rather than silently defended. Product capabilities and policies can change; the public pages should be updated when those changes materially affect a claim.
How comparison content is handled
Comparison pages distinguish public product positioning from independent testing. If ProcureDeal has not directly tested a competitor capability, the page should not imply that it has. Product features, packaging and pricing can change, so readers should verify material purchase details with the vendor's current documentation.
When ProcureDeal appears in a comparison we publish, that conflict must be disclosed. The goal is to recommend by use case, not to construct a table where ProcureDeal wins every row.
Source hierarchy
For standards and frameworks, primary sources are preferred. For ProcureDeal product claims, the live implementation and current public documentation are the source of truth. For market commentary, official vendor material should be preferred over anonymous summaries when a claim materially affects a buying decision.
